Why We Aren't Pink

We chose the colors of the Goal Getters Club based on a desire to separate ourselves from the conventional idea of what women's empowerment looks like.

Before we are born, women are bombarded with pink as the color we should most associate and identify with. Pink is soft, it is comforting, it is the mixture of white and red - purity and love. What we discovered through exploring the meaning of various colors is that the message we are trying to share with the world is neither one that classifies women as soft or pure. Rather we want women to be bold as they enter a Goal Getters Club event. We want women to feel their inner strength, be fearless, tap into it and use it to achieve their goals. We want women to feel balanced in the pursuit of their goals, recognizing that life must be lived while goals are being achieved. We want women to pursue the life they desire with intention and purpose. Most importantly, we want to break the mold! Goal Getters are bold (red) regal (purple) and balanced (silver)! Goal Getters are powerful women pursuing professional and personal goals! And we are defined by a spectrum of colors that far exceed pink!
